oh, jaipur...

It's an exciting year for me, I think - 2010. I was at the Indian embassy to get my travel documents that will enable me stay in India as long as I want this time around, after the Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka had left the Consulate..Oh, yes, Soyinka would be at Jaipur too and I'm glad to declare myself as his sidekick while there, incase I get the opportunity to reach Jaipur before he leaves. This year's Jaipur has an impressive list of authors that will be speaking and discussing literature and whatnot. And I pray I don't miss anything at all.

I shall be blogging live from Jaipur. Yes, it is an exciting year, I've said. However, I do not know how the image of Nigeria will be like in India this time around, since CNN had the news of the 'Nigerian terrorist'. Now I will be subjected to knowing everything about terrorism. All the while I've been defending my brothers who peddle drugs and now, terrorism.

After Jaipur, I don't know what's next, but I may be going back to Kerala (where I had taken that picture) to work with a friend, who said, 'You must write about the African people of India".
